Bevan's in Newcastle Street Perth on the 12th September 1925.
Christened as
Jackie Wong Sue, his father was a full blood Chinese illegal immigrant
named Wong Shiu See.
Wong also had an academic name - Wong Han Lip. Jackie's
mother was Perth born Mary Magdalene Clements,
daughter to a full blood Chinese father
(Kum Chew) and an English mother (Rosetta Clements).
Mary preferred to go by
her mothers maiden name.
