THE BIRTH OF A FLYING CAREER
This is where it all started.
The place was Carnarvon WA 1962. The aircraft was a Chipmunk and I was 13.
The pilot in command was my uncle Charlie Carver who was a
mentor of mine.
Charlie and his wonderful wife Carrie were the publicans of the Carnarvon Hotel
when this photo was taken.

It was this flight with my uncle that sealed a magnificent obsession.
